Stock and Custom Plastic Packaging

About Alpha Etten-Leur

Alpha Packaging dramatically expanded its manufacturing capabilities in Europe with the November 2017 acquisition of a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Etten-Leur, Netherlands. This second Dutch location gives Alpha a broad portfolio of PET plastic food packaging to complement its existing European product lines for the nutritional supplement industry.

The 15,000-square-meter Etten-Leur facility was constructed in 1988, and substantially expanded in 1991. It includes 4,000 square meters of manufacturing space and 7,000 square meters of modern warehouse. The team in Etten-Leur is known for its design and production of custom and stock polyethylene terephthalate (PET) containers for the food & beverage, personal care and OTC markets. It serves both direct customers and the container distributor market in Europe.

The plant currently houses 21 single-stage injection stretch blow molding machines, and expects to increase that number in 2018. Approximately 60% of its bottles and jars are for custom applications, and it also boasts over 120 stock molds for core markets. The location serves more than 250 customers in 27 countries.

Alpha's Etten-Leur facility joins a strategic network of PET and HDPE blow molding facilities in Europe and North America. Combined annual sales for all Alpha locations exceeds $250 million.
